Gethsemane Church is a Bible-preaching church in Pekin, Illinois. We believe the Word of God is true, Jesus Christ is the only Saviour, and the Gospel is still the power of God unto salvation.

King James Bible
We preach and teach from the King James Bible.
Our faith and practice are not built on opinion, tradition, or the changing culture around us. We desire to stand on the Word of God and point people to the Lord Jesus Christ.
What to ExpectJesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, God manifest in the flesh, born of a virgin, sinless, crucified for our sins, buried, risen again, and coming again.
Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. A person is saved by trusting Christ as Saviour, not by church membership, baptism, or good works.
The Gospel
We believe the Gospel is the good news that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. This message is for every person.
Baptism
We believe baptism is an important step of obedience for a believer after salvation. It pictures the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and the believer's new life in Him.
The Local Church
We believe the local church is a place for worship, Bible preaching, prayer, fellowship, discipleship, service, and Gospel outreach in the community and around the world.
Family & Christian Living
We believe God cares about the home, the family, and the way we live each day. We desire to help families follow Jesus Christ with truth, grace, and faithfulness.
Missions & Outreach
We believe the church should take the Gospel beyond the walls of the building through personal witnessing, missions, community outreach, and faithful service to others.
